Meals from the Heartland
On August 29 the Iowa CPCU Society Chapter participated in the Meals from the Heartland packaging event. Our 20 CPCUs and friends packaged a total of 50 boxes during the two-hour event, which provided 1,800 individual meals. September 2013 President’s Message
I hope you have enjoyed your summer and are ready to get back into the routine that comes with fall and back to school. The Iowa CPCU Society Chapter has planned a great series of educational programs, community events, and professional development opportunities for you as we begin the last half of our new calendar year program.

October 2013 President’s Message
Fall is here and our busy schedules have begun. Make sure you put CPCU on your calendar. We had a very interesting meeting September 19 at the Hotel Fort Des Moines when Russ Sporer and Beth Coonan presented an expert witness and an attorney’s view of risk management. Russ talked about how to avoid E&O exposures and Beth spoke to the point-of-view of an attorney representing a company. They were both very interesting speakers.
